Vito Maida has been a respected and distinguished member in the investment industry for several decades. Prior to co-founding Patient Capital Management Inc. he held portfolio management positions at Trimark Financial Corp., Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel and the Ontario Municipal Employee Retirement System (OMERS). He has developed a reputation in Canada as a leading proponent of value investing.

Vito holds a BBA from Wilfred Laurier University, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

Vito Maida serves on the Investment Committee of Ronald McDonald House (Toronto), is a member of the Ivey School of Business Investment Fund Advisory Board and has been invited as a guest lecturer at several universities.

Vito is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society.


